By 2100, the maximum life expectancy can reach 125-132 years – scientists

    Researchers from the University of Washington in the United States conducted a study in which they estimated the probability that in 2100 anyone will be able to live to 120 years. In their study, they included parameters such as the possible development of medicine and genetics.

    They described the results of their calculations in the Demographic Research journal.

    Experts have predicted life expectancy in 79 years. To do this, they analyzed demographic forecasts, statistics on the survival of the elderly, and the latest data from the international database on human longevity.

    Scientists have estimated that there is more than a 99% chance that people will live to 126-130 years in this century.

    The study also showed that the probability of celebrating his 126th birthday is 89%, and 128th is 44%.

    And 13% of the world’s population will be able to live to the 130th anniversary.
