The Sultanate of Oman took part on June, 7 in the 41st meeting of the GCC Undersecretaries of Environment, Oman News reports.
Dr. Abdullah Ali al-Amri, Chairman of the Environment Authority represented the Sultanate in the virtual meeting.
The meeting discussed working papers presented by the member countries to be submitted to the GCC Ministers Responsible for Environmental Affairs.
It is worth mentioning that the 23rd meeting of the GCC environment ministers, due to be held via video-conferencing tomorrow “Tuesday”.
The 23rd meeting will discuss several environment issues of concern to the GCC countries in light of the global challenges facing the environment and climate.
