A fire that gutted a number of caravans and trees in Dubai’s Jaddaf area on Wednesday night has been brought under control.
Fire crews from Karama and Rashidiya stations responded to reports of a blaze at 11.45pm.
Dubai Civil Defence teams were at the scene within six minutes.
Firefighters extinguished the blaze within 19 minutes and carried out cooling operations.
“The head of teams on the ground confirmed controlling the blaze by 12.04am on Thursday within 19 minutes, while cooling operations are still ongoing before the location is handed over to relevant authorities for further investigations,” Dubai Civil Defence said.
No casualties have been reported and no pictures of the fire were released.
